BACK TO THE ROOTS
Oh seeker of peace and calm, listen to the wisdom of the waves by the shore. Studies by International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health speak of the wonders of meditating by the sea, where stress and anxiety decrease, and depression fades away.
Another study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology found that individuals who were exposed to natural environments, such as the beach, reported feeling more restored and refreshed compared to those who spent time in urban environments. The study also found that the sounds of the ocean and the visual stimuli of the beach had a calming effect on participants. The soothing sounds and sights of the ocean refresh the soul, providing a sense of restoration and renewal that is hard to find amidst the noise of urban life. Come, sit by the sea, and let its healing powers wash over you.
